“MYSTERY SHIP.” The final screening will take place tonight of the double feature programme, “Mystery Ship” and "Girl From Alaska.” "WOMAN OF THE YEAR.” ■ Apnearing in roles especially written for them, Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn co-star in “Woman of the Year,” which will be screened on Saturday and Monday at the Regent Theatre. This is their first co-starring picture ,and Miss Hepburn’s initial film since “The Philadelphia Story.” Tracy appears as a hardboiled New York sports writer and Miss Hepburn is a sophisticated international columnisi on the staff of the same daily. The story was written by Ring Lardner, Junr., and Michael Kanin, met the favour of Miss Hepburn, and was purchased by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, who produced “The Philadelphia Story.” RADIO REVUE REGENT THEATRE ON SUNDAY. An excellent radio and military revue will be presented at the Regent Theatre on Sunday next at 8 p.m. The 2 ZB radio concert party, in conjunction' with a military band and also artists from all parts of New Zealand, will render items that will constitute probably the best programme Masterton has seen for many months. The programme is being presented under the auspices of the Interhouse Association and the gross proceeds will go to patriotic funds. The box plan is now open at the Regent Theatre.
