ANGLO-AMERICAN SEA POWER. ADDRESS BY THE BRITISH FIRST LORD. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) RUGBY, November 26.. The dominant role of British-Ameri-can sea power in winning victory was the theme of the First Lord of the Admiralty, Mr A. V. Alexander, speaking to the American Society in London at a Thanksgiving Day celebrations He said: “It is the united power of the sea forces of the United Nations which will destroy Hitler and free Europe, just as the sea power of Britain played a major role in the destruction of Napoleon and in freeing Europe.”
