ATTACKED BY AMERICANS IN CAPITAL OF SIAM. SHIP BOMBED IN CANTON AREA. LONDON, November 26. American aircraft raided an oil refinery in Bangkok, the capital of Siam, which was engaged in producing fuel oil for Japanese planes. This was the first raid by American aircraft on Siam. It took place on the advent of Thanksgiving Day. Other American craft attacked the Canton area and wrecked an 8000-ton enemy ship in the Pearl River. British aircraft have made further concentrated attacks on Japanese bases in Burma.
