INDOOR BASKETBALL
INTER-HOUSE ASSOCIATION. CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. The indoor basketball championships controlled by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association were advanced a further stage last evening. The games were again very even, and the best contests of the evening were between Banks and State Kitchenette B, Vesta Batteries and Cathies and Ruahine and A.S.C. The following were the results:— Vesta Batteries 4, Cathies 2; Rangers 10, State Kitchenette B 6; State Kitchenette C 10, W.F.C.A. B 3; Interhouse 12, Ambulance 4; A.S.C. 14, ,Ruahine 9; States Kitchenette A 4, Banks 4; United. 6, McDuffs 4; Woolworths 4. C. Smiths 0; Cathies 12. McKenzies 10; Codys 12, Garages 8; W.F.C.A. won by default from Post and Telegraph.
