A message from Dunedin states that AngloFrench, who appeared in the acceptances yesterday for the Otago Steeplechase, should be deleted. Original intentions were to start racing at 10.30 a.m.. but it has now been decided to run the. first race at 11 a.m., and the programme will proceed at 42-minute intervals. TOTALISATOR FIGURES. Statistics prepared by the New Zealand Racing Conference reveal that for 148 days of racing held so far this season, totalisator investments at meetings promoted by racing and hunt clubs amount to £4,846,234. The Dunedin, Manawatu and Wellington meetings, as well as two hunt club fixtures, have still to be held before the season closes. The sum handled for the whole of last season (1940-41) was £6.325.725, for 232 days’ racing. Stakes given for the present season amount to £306,170. For the .whole of the previous season the sum was £411,452. SALLY LUNN GALLOPS WELL. At Riccarton yesterday Northern King, who should race well among the maidens on Saturday, had Sally Lunn as a mate over five furlongs, covered in 1.3 4-5. This was Sally Lunn’s second serious sprint since rejoining the active list, and she should be in excellent order for Trentham.
