INDOOR BASKETBALL
LOCAL CHAMPIONSHIP. \ MATCHES FOR WEDNESDAY. The indoor basketball championships will be continued in the Municipal Hall on Wednesday evening, commencing at 7 o’clock. The best games of the evening should be between Woolworths and C. Smith’s in the A grade and Cathies and McKenzies in the B grade. The following are the times and draw for the games:—-7 o’clock, Cathies B v. Vesta Batteries: 7.20, Rangers v. State Kitchenette B; 7.35, W.F.C.A. v. State Kitchenette C; 7.50, W.F.C.A. v. Post and Telegraph; 8.5, Ruahine v. A.S.C,; 8.30, Banks v. State Kitchenette A; 8.45, McDuffs v. United: 9.0, Woolworths v. Smith’s; 9.15, Cathies v. McKenzies; 9.30, Cody’s v. Garages; 9.50, Solv/ay v. Air Force Cadets; 10.10, Interhouse v. Ambulance. Lancers, Sparklets and Rangers have byes this week.
