AMERICAN AIRMEN
INTERNED IN TURKEY. AFTER BOMBING RUMANIAN OIL CENTRE. LONDON, June 15. The Ankara correspondent of the British United Press reports that Mr Stinhardt, the United States Ambassador, with the military attache, Colonel Cornelius Jadwin, and the air attache, Captain Bob Brown, visited 2a American airmen who were interned after their planes made forced landings in Turkey, reported yesterday. It is generally believed tha,t Ploesti, the Rumanian oilfields centre, was their taiget. —
