NEW DRESSES
* FROM FURNISHING FABRICS ENTERPRISE OF BRITISH WOMEN. CHECKED BY NEW RATIONING REGULATIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 14. New rationing regulations have been introduced to prevent women making clothes from material bought ostensibly for cushion'covers and curtains. Because soft furnishings have been coupon free, women have bought thousands of yards to make dressing gowns, house coats and summer frocks. Under the new rationing regulations, which will come into force tomorrow, practically every kind of material used for curtains and cushion covers will need coupons.
