BUT GRAVELY THREATENED SEBASTOPOL DEFENCES. GERMANS HURLING IN MORE MACHINES. (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) MOSCOW, June 12. The “Red Star” states that the Russian lines at Sebastopol are gravely threatened at several points, but are still intact. The Germans are hurling in more new machines. The climax of the fighting is approaching.
LACONIC REPORT ARMOURED FORCES CLASH EAST OF HARMAT. (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, June 11. A Middle East Army communique states: “Our armoured forces yesterday engaged enemy armoured forces east of Harmat. Details of the fighting are not yet available. There is nothing to report from other sectors.”
