REGENT THEATRE
“THE FEMININE TOUCH.” If there is a scroll of honour for crazy comedy in Hollywood, “The Feminine Touch,” be shown at the Regent Theatre tonight, should be mentioned. For one thing, the star is Rosalind Russell. It also marks the first appearance of Don Ameche opposite Miss Russell. It proves further that Van Heflin is an asset to the screen and that the muchmarried Kay Francis is far from being a cinematic back number. Don Ameche is cast as a professor who is endeavouring to prove that jealousy is an unnecessary emotion. Rosalind Russell, on the other hand, is anxious to prove that there is something of the green eye in every little god. The climax is reached at a cdhie-as-you-please party.
