DREDGING RETURNS. For the first half of April the Barrytown dredge returned 377 ounces for 147 hours from 65,000 yards, the Kanieri dredge 329 ounces for 170 hours from 89,000 yards and the Arahura dredge 1090 ounces for 230 hours from 95,000 yards. Wellington Alluvials report that for the four weeks ended March 28, the dredge returned 472 ounces for 517 hours from 230,000 yards. North Kalgurli (1912) Ltd., report that during the period ended March 10, 9895 net tons were treated, 8888 tons from stoping and 1007 tons from development. Revenue from ore treated and partial clean-up of Croesus Proprietary Treatment Plant, including estimated Gold Premium £32,119. Expenditure: Mining and treatment (including cost of excess ore broken in stopes during the period! £18,781, development £3752, surface equipment £ll3, diamond drilling £125. Development for the period 801 feet. TIMARU, April 20. Associated Gold Dredges’ return for the week ended April 17 was 120 ounces from 54,000 yards. DUNEDIN, April 20. The Okarito dredge returned 12oz 13dwt for 123 hours’ dredging. The Gillespies Beach wash-up for the week was 690 z 6dwt for 130 hours from 16,000 yards.
