ONSLAUGHT BY LADY ASTOR. NEED OF HANDING OVER TASKS TO WOMEN. LONDON, January 4. Lady Astor, addressing a gathering of women, said that the more she saw of man working alone the more she knew why the world was in such a mess. Post-war Europe must hand over some of its tasks to women, otherwise the world would go from mess to mess. Hitler and Mussolini—man-made champions—were destined to see that their vision of what women were good for was all wrong. Women had a bigger task than giving birth to children for fighting.
