ORANGE MINCEMEAT
TRY THIS RECIPE. Ingredients: 11b stoned raisins, 2 lb each of sultanas, currants, sugar, orange jam (dryish home-made for preference), and shredded suet, iilb candied peel, 11b tart cooking apples (peeled and cored), grated rind of a lemon and half its juice,' | teaspoonful mixed spice, 1 teaspoonful ground ginger, J grated nutmeg. Method: Chop all the fruits and suet well together, or put through the mincer. When thoroughly blended, add strained lemon juice and jam. Mix well together again. Store in airtight jars until required.
