RACING TROPHY

PRESENTED BY DUKE OF WINDSOR TO CHILE. A silver cup, bearing the Chilean coat of arms and the Prince of Wales' feathers, has been sent out by the Duke/of Windsor to the Jockey Club of Chile, the Club Hipicd de Santiago. The trophy, costing 2,000 dollars, has been made by London silversmiths for the winner of the Prince of Wales Classic, a race which was named after the Duke of Windsor when he visited South America. Every year since then a cup, either in gold or silver, has been sent out to Chile from London.
