OLD MACKINTOSHES
ECONOMY SUGGESTIONS. We all have to keep an eagle eye open these days for economy suggestions. Here are a number of ways in which to use an old mackintosh. A shopping bag to carry in wet weather can be made from two pieces of equal size machined together; the handles are made from odd pieces with several rows of machine stitching to make them stiff. And now that summer is coming it would be a good idea to sew odd squares of mackintosh to the underside of cushions to fit them for picnics, garden or river use. ,
