STRIKE ORDER
OBEYED BY MOST MINERS IN PENNSYLVANIA ONE BLAST FURNACE CLOSED DOWN. LIMITED COAL SUPPLY FOR OTHERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 17. Virtually ail of the 25,000 miners in Western Pennsylvania have obeyed the order to strike. The only cutward sign of rebellion by the miners against the strike order was at Rosedale. It is reported that one blast furnace at the Birmingham mill has been banked because of the coal strike. The remaining furnaces will have to be banked shortly, because the Birmingham mill has only five days’ supply of coal.
