SPRING FLOWER SHOW
MUNICIPAL HALL TOMORROW. ’ The Masterton Horticultural ‘ Society’s spring flower show, will be held in the Municipal Hall tomorrow, the doors being open to visitors from 2 o’clock onwards in the afternoon, and from 7 till 9 o’clock in the evening. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon the show will be officially opened by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, who will be accompanied by Mrs Jordan. Afternoon tea will be available. Excellent entries have been received in all classes, and through the introduction of new classes, particularly that for competition between the Women’s Institutes and Garden Circles, there promises to be a display of floral beauty surpassing anything seen before in the Wairarapa. The art section has been well supported, and should in itself prove an outstanding attraction. . For the special convenience of those who have omitted to place their entries, the secretary, Mr E. K. Eastwood, Perry Street, Masterton (telephone 1077) is prepared to accept late entries until 6 o’clock this evening.
