' SPRING CATTLE FAIR. PRICES AT MARTINBOROUGH. The Associated Auctioneers report, on their spring cattle fair held at Martinborough as follows: —A small yarding of cattle and a special entry of sheep came forward. The attendance was not large, but competition was good. The prices realised were well up to, and in some cases, exceeded those ruling at the cattle fairs held in the neighbouring districts. A total clearance was effected, and the following list will indicate values: Fat cows, light and unfinished, £4 15s to £5 10s; 3yr P.A. steers, £B, £8 2s 6d; 2yr steers, £5 12s, £6 15s; yearling PA. steers, £3 6d, £5 10s, yearling P.A. heifers, £2 4s, £3 15s; Hereford cows, £4. £4 17s; store cows, £3'l4s, £4 6. Sheep: B.f. hoggets, 20s- 6d; ewes and lambs, 12s 9d, all counted.
