POWER SUPPLY
MEETING OF WAIRARAPA , BOARD. The monthly meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board was held in the board’s room this morning, the chairman, Mr A. C. Pearce, presiding. There were also present Messrs J. W. Colquhoun, F. C. Daniell, H. P. Hugo, W. Howard Booth, G. W. Hart, and M. B. Tait. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs R. W. Tate and C. E. Holmes. Accounts amounting to £4,445 10s 16d were passed. The Secretary-Manager's monthly report showed a net revenue increase of £144 tls Bd—an amount, £55 2s 3d below the estimate, principally on account of mild weather during the month of May. The annual balance sheet was before the meeting and was certified by the auditors as correct. Guarantee arrangements between the Board and the Martinborough Borough Council, S. P. Amundsen, and W. I-I. Pearce were considered and approved. The Greytown. Featherston, Martinborough, Masterton. and Carterton borough councils wrote approving curtailments of street, lighting.
