SOME MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR AIR FORCE MINOR FOOT TROUBLES NOT A BAR. STATEMENT BY DEFENCE MINISTER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister for Defence, Mr Jones, in a statement today, announced that the R.N.Z.A.F. is prepared to accept tor enlistment as pilots, observers or gunners men who have minor afflictions of the feet—flat feet or similar complaints. This refers only to those men who are within the air crew age and have the requisite educational qualifications. Many of those who have offered their services to the Army and have been rejected for various types of foot trouble consider that they are' unsuitable for any branch of the services, but if these men otherwise are 1 physically fit they will be considered for selection for air crew training.
