MUNICIPAL BAND
PERFORMANCES ON CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR EVES. The public is reminded that the Masterton Municipal Band will not be able to visit the outlying parts of the borough to play carols this year. Since ihe outbreak of war 14 members of the band have gone overseas or are in military camps. The Band will play selected items in Queen Street from 7.30 to 8.30 o’clock of Christmas Eve. As in past years the band will be present at the Post Office corner te celebrate the passing of the old year and the beginning of the new.
The band wishes to tender the season’s greetings to its many supporters.
