PATRIOTIC CONCERT
OPERA HOUSE ON MONDAY. f f The Akura Maori Entertainers who are to appear in a patriotic concert at ; the Opera House on Monday next, will present items illustrating Maori legends, hakas, poi dances, action songs and group singing of Maori airs. The canoe poi given with realistic action and rhythm, should be one of the best items on the programme. The Kia-ora Nga Waka (“welcome of seven canoes”' is another which should meet with approval. Mr Cecil Torr, a singer of m'ore than ordinary ability, will bo heard in popular songs, and that favourite performer, Mr Harry Hall, will present a number of new and amusing items. Seats can bo reserved at Mes-: srs Steele and Bull's shop. There is no booking fee. 1
