DANCE AND EUCHRE GATHERING AT PAHAUTEA. (“Times-Age" Special.) The dance and euchre party held in the Pahautea Hall on Saturday night was fairly well attended. The euchre winners were: Ladies. In a return match played at Pahautea on Monday night the Featherston Table Tennis Club defeated the Pahautea Club by 12 sets 21 games to 12 sets 19 games. The following are the,Results of the games. Johnson lost to Woods and M. Bargh 24-31; McNamara and E. Johnson lost to Simonek and Mrs Elbe 25-31. Personal. Mr Tildesley, Mangamahoe. is visiting his daughter, Mrs S. Grant. Mr Tildesley celebrated his 91st birthday recently and enjoys excellent health. Removal of School Building. It is reported that Mr F. C. Benton has secured the contract to remove the Kaiwaiwai School into Featherston, where it will be placed adjacent to the new school, thus providing an additional two rooms. The new school building is nearing completion.
