A Spitfire and a German plane fought a duel over a north-eastern coastal town this afternoon. The Spitfire, after a terrific power-dive, attacked the enemy which jettisoned its bomb cargo and made off towards the coast, pursued by the Spitfire. Three high-explosive bombs and twenty-five incendiary bombs were dropped. There were no casualties.
