GERMANS HELD HP
NO PROGRESS IN MAIN VALLEYS WAR OFFICE COMMUNIQUE. BRITISH HOLDING POSITIONS IN DOMBAS AREA. A British War Office communique states that the German advance by the two valleys towards Trondheim has made no progress iii the last 48 hours, Daventry reports. In the Dombas area, British troops, fighting with indomitable courage, have resisted any further advance by the enemy. South of Namsos, British troops again showed their superiority in patrol work and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy. Fresh British landings have taken place along the coast of Norway.
