Foushan, and yicheng south to Toyangchen, Tungcheng, and Chincheng along the Shansi-Honan border. Simultaneously, a column from Paoan is attempting to effect a junction with units from the north in the vicinity of Chincheng. The Chinese are attacking in southeast Shansi and have retaken cities along the route. The Japanese losses are reported to be heavy.
