STOCKS SLIGHTLY REDUCED IN BRITAIN ON ACCOUNT OF INVASION OF DENMARK. NO IMMEDIATE PROSPECT OF RATIONING. (British Official Wireless.) ( Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, April 29. “The German occupation of Denmark has had the effect of slightly reducing Stock of bacon and butter,” said an official of the Ministry for Food. There were, however, he added, still considerable supplies, and no immediate possibility of a revision of the scale of rationing.
