EXTENSION OF TERM. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The term of Viscount Galway as Governor-Genera! of New Zealand ha-:; been extended to Febniai'.v of next year. This is the second extension ol his Excellency's term of ollice. His normal five-year term expired this month, but ii was announced in .limitary that the King had approved an extension of six months. The lollowing official notice of a further extention was issued last night:— "Hi:; Majesty the King lias been pleased to approve of the extension till February. 1911. of the term oi office of Colonel the Right Honourable Viscount Galway. P.C.. G.C.M.G.. D. 5.0., 0.8. E., as Governor-General of New Zealand."
