HARRIER ACTIVITIES
KAITERE CLUB. As the visit from the Olympic Harrier Club of Wellington has had to be cancelled tomorrow’s run will be a sealed handicap race for seniors over a 6.' mile trail. Points for this race will count for the Rutherfurd Rose Bowl. Junior club members will take part in a 2J mile race for the Turnbull meaaV This is also a sealed handicap event and the winner will receive the handsome gold medal donated each year by two of the club’s staunch supporters, Messrs D. and J. Turnbull. The junior race is timed to start at 2.30 p.m. MASTERTON CLUB. An invitation run will be held by the members of the Masterton Harrier Club on the property of Mr and Mrs George Shaw, Te Ore Ore, Masterton, on Saturday. A race will be <held for both junior and seniors. The bus will leave Masterton at 1.45 p.m.
