GERMAN CLAIMS
CAPTURE OF BROMBERG. (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) BERLIN, September 6. The War Ministry announced the occupation of the fortified city of Bromberg. The industrial centre of Kielce was also taken. It is understood that German losses were especially heavy around Tczew, near Danzig, among a regiment of Hitler’s bodyguard. The “Diplomattische Korrespondenz” says Germany is willing to agree to the burying of the old struggle with France, but will resist unprovoked aggression.
