Replying to a question in the House of Commons, the Secretary for War, Major L. Horc-Belisha. said financial and administrative reasons made it impossible to'depart from the policy of relying mainly on Dominion meat for the Army. Home-produced meal would cost aii extra £1,000.000 a year.
