Mrs Barclay, who has been staying with Mrs E. G. Eton, Cornwall Street, Masterton, is returning to Waitara this week

Miss Jean Smith, Lincoln Road, Carterton, has been appointed to the nurses staff of the Masterton public hospital, and will take up her duties on Tuesday.

Daily she has been’ the recipient of cables, letters, flowers and delicacies, from her host of admirers. A regular inquirer as to the progress of Miss Fields, is no less a personage than Queen Mary.
