Mrs D. C. Macfarlane, of Mount Paul, Waiau, is the guest of Mrs C. Deans, Masterton.
Miss Tamplin, Wellington, is on a visit to Masterton and is staying at the Empire Hotel. Mrs de Pass, Kaituna Valley, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs A. P. Bennett, Renall Street, Masterton. Miss M. G. Rowse, of Whakataki, has been appointed assistant teacher at the Lansdowne School.
Miss J. Johnston, of Kelburne, who has been the guest of Miss I. V. McKenzie, Renall Street, Masterton, returned to Wellington yesterday. Mrs Alan Burt and hen little daughter, of South Featherston, have returned home after spending a few days with Mrs Burt’s parents, Mr and Mrs Blatchford, Training Farm, Taratahi.
