“FAMILY AFFAIRS”

LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY. Much interest is being taken in the Second Major Production (for this year) of the Little Theatre Society to be presented on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week in the Masterton Opera House. The play chosen is "Family Affairs” by Gertrude Jennings and it has been already received with favour by Wellington and Palmerston North audiences. It should prove extremely popular with the local public. Briefly the story centres round Lady Madehurst’s family and their affairs as the title indicates. Many humorous situations arise and are admirably balanced by the deeper feelings of "Mother" for her wayward son "Sydney." Sprinkled with light romance, the play draws to an effective close with the family affairs in perfect order. The production of this play is in the capable hands of Miss Betty Ccleman, who is well known to the Masterton public. The box plans will be at Steel and Bull's (Nimmo’s), Queen Street.
