MAN CHOKED BY PIECE OF MEAT. FINDING AT WELLINGTON INQUEST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. At an inquest on Raymond James Marshall, a motor mechanic aged 28. who collapsed and died on the footpath outside a city restaurant early in the morning of July 27, the cause of death was stated by the Coroner to have been that a large piece of meat lodged in Marshall's throat while he was having a meal. Marshall suddenly appeared to choke. He went outside and collapsed and died before the arrival of an ambulance.
