AS ENEMY OF HUMANITY OVERTHROW URGED BY JAPAN RESOLUTION DELIVERED AT EMBASSY. FOLLOWING ON DEMONSTRATION IN TOKIO. A delegation delivered a resolution at the British Embassy, stating that the seven million citizens of Tokio were determined to overthrow Britain, which country was an enemy of humanity. The demonstration was the largest against a foreign power in the history of Japan.

SEIZURE OF PROPERTY PROPOSED AT NANKING. (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) SHANGHAI, July 4. A Japanese news agency says that the Central China anti-British Federation at Nanking passed a resolution proposing a temporary custody of British property, which could be returned when Britain changes her attitude towards events in China. BOYCOTT DEMANDS (Received This Day, 8.35 a.m.) TOKIO, July 14. Anti British demonstrations in twenty-seven cities demanded the boycott of Japan’s foreign trade with Britain and Australia. HONG KONG DEFENCE CONSCRIPTION APPROVED. (Received This Day,' 9.45 a.m.) HONG KONG, July 14. The Governor has approved conscription of able-bodied Britons for defence. Of the 2,500 persons affected 1,700 are liable for combatant service, for which 750 have volunteered.
