At the wool sales, 9.053 bales were offered, including 4,404 from New Zealand and 8.106 were sold. A good selection, was offered again and met with an active demand, rates being fully maintained. Quotations: New Zealand greasy halfbred (average and highest), Ellon, 113 d to 12Jd; Upton Fells, ll.ld to ll>d; measy crossbred. NXWMA, 91d to 12d; : Tpe halfbred combing lambs. Longburn, 14$d to 15d.
