COURSING
WAIRARAPA CLUB’S MEETING. EVENTS ON SATURDAY. Tomorrow afternoon, commencing at 1.45 p.m. an excellent day’s coursing is assured with a 16-dog stake for the Watson Rose Bowl, and an Open Stake for a trophy provided by the Wairarapa Club. The following is the draw for each event and the officials in control of the meeting:— Watson Rose Bowl Stake: Messrs McGrath and Cooke’s (Wellington) Cardsharper meets Mr R. N. Riding's (Wanganui) Mosquito Kid meets Mr J. Hare's (Carterton) The Trump; Mr W. L. Jensen's (Carterton) Snowdrift meets Mr J. Hanley’s (Masterton) Black Magic; Mr W. L. Jensen’s (Carterton) White Lie meets Messrs James and Taylor's (Masterton) Merry Monarch;Mr W. Williams's (Masterton) Flying Veil meets Mr W. Ramsey's. (Wanganui) Old Faithful. Open Stake: Mr W. Spring's (Masterton) Julius Ceasar meets Mr La Roche’s (Wellington) Desert Storm; Mrs L. H. Jones’s (Masterton) The Slam meets Messrs James and Taylor’s (Masterton) Dainty Footsteps.
