The games were all closely contested, and the standard of play was excellent. The old Town Hall, which provides the best court in the Wairarapa, possesses a particularly high’ ceiling, giving a clearance which enables badminton of a high standard to be played. The match which resulted in a draw, six games all, was played in a splendid spirit and the visitors made very welcome. An excellent supper was provided by the ladies’ committee of the Featherston Club. A return visit to the St. Matthew’s Club next week is being eagerly awaited, when it is hoped that the same warm hospitality will be extended to the visitors as was experienced by the St. Matthew's team at Featherston.
