Halifax.—The quantity of live lobsters caught in Canadian Atlantic waters this year to the end of August amounted to approximately 272,000 cwt. This compares with 263.870 cwt last year. A large portion of the lobster catch is cahnecl and is in considerable demand by epicures throughout the world.
