PERSONAL ITEMS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr and Mrs A. Brimble were guests at the Simpson-Galpin wedding which took place this week at Marton. Mrs C. Hudson, of Longbush, who has been on an extended tour of England, will return home shortly. Miss Thelma Wright and Miss Ann Hopkins, of Wellington, will be the guests of Mr and Mrs R. J. Wright for the holidays. Mr and Mrs Frank Wall, of Mahaki, are spending a holiday in Paraparaumu. Mr D. Watkins and Misses M. and V. Aitchison sailed last night for the South Island, where they will spend a fortnight’s holiday. Mr and Mrs Rodiwald have left to spend a holiday in Auckland. Mr and Mrs Ivor Charles and infant son are spending the school vacation at Coalgate, Christchurch. Mr and Mrs G. Cuthbert and infant daughter are spending the school holidays at New Plymouth. Mr D. McAlister and his mother are on a motor tour of the North Island. They are accompanied by Mr and Mrs C. Holmes. Mr G. Sutherland, Bush Gully, and Mr A. Aitchison sailed this morning for the South Island, where they will spend a fortnight visiting relatives. Mr K. Fiest is spending.the Christmas holidays in Wellington. . Mr and Mrs T. Boyd, accompanied by Mr and Mrs A. Brimble, left today to spend the Christmas 'weekend with Mr and Mrs E. J. Beale of Khandallah.
