SHOPPING DISORGANISED IN LONDON FURTHER HEAVY FALLS OFiSNOW. IMPROVEMENT IN RAILWAY SERVICES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) RUGBY, December 23. Christmas shopping activities in London suffered serious disorganisation owing to the severe weather of the past few days, and with further heavy falls of snow last night street traffic was subject to much congestion' in the West End, as well as in outer districts. A thaw which set in yesterday continued in north and west of England, but temperatures in the south fell again late last night, and reached freezing point in the London area in the early hours of the morning. Delays still occurred on the London underground system today, but conditions showed a marked improvement yesterday. Other railway systems are also subject to delays and in many parts of the country roads are impassable.
