Vancouver.—A giant, sturgeon, weighing 767 pounds, was recently captured in the Fraser River near here. From the otolith rings on the ear-bone, Government fisheries Inspectors have determined that the fish was well over 100 years old. Each ring on the bone indicates one year- i;.i the fish’s life.
