Rain, 1 point. Frost, 6.9 degrees. General situation,: The anti-cyclone mentioned yesterday has moved northwards its centre now being over the Auckland Peninsula; the first of a series of westerly depressions is beginning to cross the ’southern part of the South Island. For ecast: Light to moderate northerly winds gradually freshening. Weather mainly fair but with increasing, cloud; temperatures mild.
