CALLED A PEST
STOWAWAY ON AWATEA FINED.. SYDNEY, June 1. Frederick Butler, the stowaway who escaped from a locked cabin of the Awatea when she docked here, has been fined 40s and ordered to pay 8s costs and £8 passage money. The police described Butler as a pest. He was a stowaway who came under police notice every three or four months.
