RABBITSKIN SALES

PRICES AT DUNEDIN. The Otago Farmers’ Co-operative Association of New Zealand, Ltd., report as follows on their rabbitskin sale, held on Tuesday:— Owing to the alteration in sale day, slightly smaller catalogues were submitted to the usual bench of buyers. Competition was keen, and the market generally showed a rise as compared with last sale. Low grade and summer skins advanced from Id to 2d per lb. Racks were keenly sought after at prices 3d per lb. above last sale. The demand for autumn and incoming grades was very good, and prices appreciated from 2d to 6d per lb. Small quantities of early -winter skins were forwarded.
