A baby girl weighing 71b. lloz. was born at 7.11 p.m. in room No. 711 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Paterson, New Jersey. A duel to death was recently fought in Silverspring, Maryland. U.S.A, and the weapons were —Cars. After a fierce quarrel two gangs of young men leapt into two cars and began a butting battle. Again and again the cars hit one another with resounding crashes. Then one skidded almost 100 ft, hit a telegraph pole, killing two occupants.
