RIFLE SHOOTING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The second of a series of three shoots for the Bush Cup was held on the Tararua range last Saturday. The visibility was poor and the scores were not as high as in the first match. The three teams, Kaipororo, Alfredton and Tararua scored 755, 755 and 748 respectively. The scores were:

A. Edmonds and J. P. Petersen both-having the high total of 199. INTER-CLUB MATCH. PETONE VERSUS MASTERTONOPAKI. A strong contingent of Petone Rifle Club members visited Masterton over the weekend, and, after a very close and enjoyable contest, defeated the home club by 3 points. The , teams consisted of fifteen men aside, Owing to the Masterton-Opaki Club only being able to muster this number, and by squad totals Opaki No. 1 scored 452 against Petone’s 448. Opaki No. 2 squad scored 432 and Petone 431, but Petone No. 3 reversed the order by 415 to Opaki No. 3’s 407. The full scores were:—

HOOD MEMORIAL CUP. MASON WINS FROM KUMMER. The shoot-off between Mason and Kummer, who tied for the Hood Memorial Cup last week, was decided at 900 yards under conditions of 2 compulsory sighters, 5 shots to count, and resulted in Mason winning, scoring 23 to Kummer's 20. Mason has also won the Wrigley Cup for the highest score at the two field days and Service class firing with a total of 583. SEASON CONCLUDED.
