SHINING SEQUINS. ADD GLAMOUR TO GOWNS. Sequins are allowed to gleam discreetly on' day dresses, but only as a finish to cuffs, a neckline or belt. It is in the evening that they come into their own and add glamour to smart gowns. Sapphire blue sequins for embroidery on a black dress looked distinguished. White frocks are composed of sequins, or coatees and boleros are completely covered with them. Classic simplicity was the keynote of a white satin gown which had a wide belt of jet sequins and a coatee. Rainbow sequins formed a wide border round the neck fronts and hem of a little fitting jacket in pale blue charmeuse that transformed a low-necked gown of the same fabric into a dress suitable for theatre or restaurant wear.
