Education Board.

The monthly meeting of the Education Board waa held on Wednes lay morning. The Chairman staled that tie committee appointed lo report upon the Maaterton site had not been able to agree upon a report. It was ultimately resolved to postpone consideration of the question until the Board knew what sum Parliament would vote for h uildiog purposes, and that £SOO be set apart to carry out the pledge of the Board to build a second school at Maaterton, and that the Masterton Site Committee be requested to report definitely upon the best site.

It wna resolved that a committee, consisting of Messrs Young and Fraser, be appointed to enquire into the difference* between Mr Singer, of Kaiwsiwai, and hi* oommittee.
